What cars does CarDoor accept?

CarDoor accepts most passenger vehicles, makes, models, and model years, including high-mileage vehicles and cars with accident history. A few conditions apply: the vehicle must be in running condition, registration must be valid and current, and at least one set of keys is required. Vehicles imported from outside Canada must be fully imported. If your car was previously registered in another province, you'll need the original ownership document. If you're unsure whether your vehicle qualifies, submit your details and a Customer Advocate will advise you.

Can I sell a car that was in an accident?

Yes. CarDoor accepts vehicles with accident history. In Ontario, accident history is typically disclosed through a CARFAX Canada report, and our appraisal team factors this into your offer fairly. Accident history may affect your offer value, but it does not disqualify your vehicle.
